Ruckus in the Rockies 3

MONSTER ENERGY proudly presents “Ruckus in the Rockies 3” in Lake Louise, Canada, with bigger features, more prize money, and more events!

April 1, 2013 – Vancouver, BC. Canada.

The best season ender party in the snowboard world is back at Lake Louise May 3rd and 4th, 2013, and Monster Energy is raising the stakes. Two days of snowboard jams, music on the patio and a stacked lineup of DJs playing through a 100,000-watt sound system is our way of putting a fork in this season. In the last two years the stories about this weekend have become legendary and we’re stepping it up in 2013.

This year we’re moving the location of the hip to make it the biggest jump the Lake has ever seen. Monster Energy team riders Charles Reid, Darcy Sharpe, Dustin Craven, Eero Niemela, Mark Sollors and Mikey Rencz, and their invited guests, will go head to head in a jam format that will push the level of tricks and set a new standard for big air. At the end of the day Friday, someone will ride away with a brand new Kawasaki KX 250 dirtbike and most importantly, bragging rights.

Saturday is reserved for the best rail party ever on our brand new, custom built, one of a kind rail setup, there’s 10 grand on the line so expect riders to throw down! The jam format keeps the energy level high as master of the 45, Vinyl Ritchie, and his special guests provide the soundtrack. This is a patio party like no other with the unique rail setup in the middle; there are no bad views and no bad trips.

If you haven’t heard about the Ruckus afterparty that we throw at The Lodge of the Ten Peaks by now, then you’re sleeping. This is the only place to be to end the shred season. This year PK Sound is jamming 100,000 watts into one of the best rooms anywhere and we’re bringing the talent. Montreal’s Adventure Club has been selling out wherever they play and never disappoint. And it wouldn’t be Ruckus without Mat the Alien, Pump and Illo. This year we’re adding Expendable Youth and DJ Murge. Don’t be the one to say, “I wish I went” on Monday morning.
